We can help you with our no bias, industry inside opinions from our industry expert who can tell you if each of the offered components is right for you, and if so, the offered price of each component is at reasonable market cost. Best of all, service fees for these services are at very competitive price. Our service fees will pay itself and will help you save more money than what you would have mistakenly chosen to pay without consulting us. System design service fees are based on the type of desired systems: being Home Theater system design; multi-zone audio system design; multi-zone video system design; smart home control system design; lighting control system design; security and fire alarm system design; structured wiring system design; smart home wiring design; and on the size of area in square meters.
What is our deliverable in a system design plan service?
After listening and consulting with you on your requirements, and most likely together with a few revision of our system design plans customized to your requirement and budget, a system design plan which following elements will be delivered to you. Note that system design plans for different system will have different elements. Element list below is for illustration only. This will mark the completion of stage one.
1. Detailed list of components: What equipment, what brand, what model, and what quantity?
2. Cost of each component or in case of a service for system design plan review for other provider’s system design plan, market suggested cost.
3. Functions, and features of each component individually and as a whole integrated system:
4. Programming scope and requirements: What operation the system is supposed to do according to your wishes. We define the “rules of behavior” of the system in this session. For example, when and how to turn lights on/off and to what lighting scene? What lights/levels for numerous various lighting scenes? What evacuation warning message should be set in case of fire?
5. Compatibility requirement: Is it compatible with MP3? With iTunes? With Apple? Etc.
6. System layout: Optimal location of equipment reflected in your house layout.
7. System wiring layout plan: Detail of what kind of cable and lengths will be required and from where to where. Detail of Audio/Visual/LAN/Control line connection wall plate location. This will be useful to builder, contractor, electrical contractor, and architects.

In this step, Exzel Smart Home will utilize our expertise and many-year-experience to ensure that the pre-wiring and wiring stage is smooth and to ensure it will turn your dream concept into reality. We communicate with all the parties; being your builder, your electrical contractor, your architecture, and your interior designer to make sure what they have to do, where, how and when, when it comes to pre-wiring preparation. It is easier and cheaper to do it right on the first shot, instead of having wrong audio cable size and grade to your wall plate, and later spend a lot more money to find an expensive and almost impossible solution to replace the wrong cable...

In case Exzel Smart Home does the wiring, we will run appropriate in-wall and/or in-ceiling wiring, from various devices and equipments to, usually, a centralized location. Exzel Smart Home uses only quality equipment (wall plate, cables, speaker wires, etc.), yet at reasonable price worth every single dollar of your investment.
It is not all about wire though. Instead, if a portion of wireless solution is a viable solution and at reasonable cost in line with your budget, we will recommend you on this. This is very useful choice for an existing home renovation project, for example.

In case you use other vendor’s system master plan proposal, and would like to have a second thought about pricing, and service terms on similar devices, we are delight to help you with that. This step begins when the home’s finishing is complete, and thus the home is ready to move in. Our installation team will install all in-ceiling devices such as in-ceiling speakers or smoke detectors, all in-wall devices such as in-wall touch screens, smart lighting switches, all AV gears and smart home controllers in a rack, all relays and sensors in places, all projectors, projector screens, CCTV cameras and IP Cameras. |
This stage is to integrate all components into one single integrated system. All customer supplied devices such as TVs, DVD players, Satellite or cable boxes, etc. The other important part is to integrate the smart home LAN/Wireles LAN loop in to the system. |

From the programming scope that is agreed during the first step in system design step, we will program the integrated system according to this “rules of behavior”. After programming completion, we calibrate the whole system. This process involves testing all equipments against a detailed checklist, and “massaging” all your speakers whether in your home theater or multi-room music application to ensure the best performance after they come out right from the box. |
