Can be unlocked by emergency mechanical key in case of emergency
Hotel management can limit the time their guest can access their room until their supposed check out time.
Keycards can be grouped into several levels to differentiate access right. For example, room service card, guest card, and master card as per followings

Master Card: able to unlock all of the locks belong to the system without time limited, and able to unlock even the deadbolt locks.
Room service Card: able to unlock the locks belong to the system, but not able to unlock the deadbolt locks
Guest card: for the guest to access to their room within specified period of time (until their agreed check out time)

Lost key cards can also be easily invalidated from the room lock, hence eliminating a risk of an unauthorized access to your guest room.

Lock pin is made from special material. Its rigidity and strength is ten times harder than other usual mortise made from brass or ordinary steel. This can not only protect bending of the lock if pressed the handle with excessive force, but also avoiding the disadvantage of free-handle lock. (For free-handle lock: In other standard mortise found in the market, after using for a long period of time, the lock case's deflexion will affect the normal unlock function of the door lock.)
